If you had told us a few years ago that we’d be promoting Southern Gospel concerts across Western Canada, we might’ve smiled and shrugged it off. But today, we are thrilled to share how God has opened doors and stirred our hearts to step out in faith.
Christian music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in southern Ontario, my sister Sue Krawchuk and I were surrounded by it. Our parents sang in a local Southern Gospel group called The Jubilaires, and we both had the chance to perform with them at one time or another. It was a way of life—weekends filled with music, testimonies, and the kind of fellowship that stays with you forever.
Over the years, Sue and I both supported various Southern Gospel promoters in different capacities. But, like so many things, 2020 brought that to an abrupt halt. The music that once filled venues and hearts across our region fell quiet, and we knew that needed to change.
The spark reignited when Sue had a conversation with Scotty Inman. He mentioned wanting to return to Alberta and encouraged her to consider bringing him up for a concert. Sue called me —I was in. That first concert happened in May 2024, and something came alive in both of us. We felt it was time to bring Southern Gospel music back in a meaningful, sustainable way.
That’s how Faith Family Concerts was born—a ministry-minded promotion venture founded by two sisters with a shared love for Christian music and a desire to bring it back to Canadian audiences.
And in true “Go Big or Go Home” fashion, our next step was bold: bringing The Booth Brothers Reunion Tour to Alberta. After some exciting and encouraging conversations with our new partners at IMC Concerts, we were thrilled to announce concerts in Calgary on May 2 and Edmonton on May 3, 2025.
The tour featured Ronnie and Michael Booth, Jim and Melissa Brady, and Buddy Mullins. Both shows were sold out and absolutely unforgettable. The presence of the Holy Spirit was undeniable. People came hungry for encouragement—and they found it in the music, the message, and the fellowship.
We were so blessed by the feedback. One person said, “Let me thank you for your work in bringing great music back to us here in Calgary. The Booth Brothers Reunion concert was fabulous.” Another wrote, “Can’t even explain how much we enjoyed the concert last night! We were just so blessed by the evening!” Comments like these reminded us why we do what we do.
We’re beyond grateful—to everyone who bought a ticket, who volunteered, who prayed, who encouraged us, and who travelled long distances, including some new friends from the USA. We’re especially thankful to IMC Concerts for partnering with us to reignite the flame of Southern Gospel in Western Canada.
So what’s next?
We’re expanding into Saskatchewan this fall! We’re excited to welcome back Scotty Inman and to also bring in Legacy Five for a series of concerts:
