May 15, 2026 — After the stately, reverential “In Christ Alone,” Southern Gospel’s Anthem Edition are dialing up the energy with their latest Sonlite Records single, “Something’s Going On ‘Round Here.”

“Something’s going on… can you feel it in the air?” asks the group’s Tim Rackley, echoing the song’s thematic center. “From Galilee to every heart, His love is moving everywhere. The Man from Galilee is still changing lives — this is more than a song, it’s a stirring of His presence.”

From its opening guitar lick, “Something’s Going On ‘Round Here” leans on country flavors, including resonator guitar and fiddle from legendary studio musician, David Johnson, to keep the energy level high as the vocal lead passes from voice to voice across the song’s three taut verses:

Have you heard the word that’s going round
Everybody’s talking ’bout Him all over town
Some say He speaks and calms the troubled sea
At least that’s the rumor ’bout the man from Galilee

Something’s going, going on ’round here
Folks are gatherin’ in from far and near
Crazy, ain’t it? Can’t explain it
But there’s one thing that’s clear
Something’s going, going on ’round here

Written by a trio of Gospel hitmakers — Kenna Turner West, Jason Cox and Belinda Smith — “Something’s Going On ‘Round Here” masterfully brings the sense of excitement that accompanied Jesus’ coming forward through the centuries, giving the listener a thrilling sense of what it was like to be living in that moment.

“Something’s going on is an upbeat ‘group feature’ song with a strong message that builds excitement in concerts as we have started sharing it live,” notes Rackley. “This song will be a great ending to Anthem Edition’s concerts in the future!”

“Something’s Going On ‘Round Here” is streaming in Dolby Atmos spatial audio on Apple Music, Amazon Music and TIDAL. Listen to it HERE.

    About Anthem Edition
Anthem Edition burst onto the scene in 2003 as a trio called The Old Paths, founded by Doug Roark and Tim Rackley with a mission to glorify the Lord. The trio soon became a quartet and gained national attention. In 2012, they signed with Crossroad Music’s Sonlite Records label, releasing the breakout album ‘Right Now’ which yielded two #1 hits and earned them a Singing News Fan Award for Favorite New Quartet. Despite a hiatus in 2015, they returned to touring in 2017. In late 2022, the group changed its name to Anthem Edition and welcomed Andrew Utech as the new bass vocalist. In the fall of 2023, Cameron Edens joined as the new tenor.
